A Call to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has devastated parts of Nepal. Around 8000 lives have been lost and thousands more are wounded or missing because of this tragedy. We here at YWAM Nashville have a vested interest in this country. In the past 5 years we have sent three teams to this lovely country. These teams have visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, and several villages in Nepal. They have worked with orphanages, done basic medical training, visited brick factories, worked with street kids ministries, and were involved in prayer walking and worship. One of the teams got to visit a school where they were the first Christians to visit. They shared testimonies and shared Bible stories with the students. Some of the Nepalese YWAM staff that our teams have worked with are now working passionately to bring healing and hope to the people who live in the places where the earthquake has done the most damage. But they cannot do it alone. This is why we are asking that you partner with us to help the relief efforts in Nepal. All proceeds will go to our YWAM staff in Nepal who have devoted themselves as agents of relief and healing to the people effected by the earthquake.

Our friends in Nepal have warned us about who and where to give our financial resources as the Nepalese people are subject to a government with a track record of corruption and misuse of the peoples resources.  We are therefore making sure that all of the money donated goes directly to the people.

Checks can be made out to YWAM with Nepal Relief stated in the memo line and sent to:
