School of Frontier Missions
The School of Frontier Missions (SOFM) is a 3 month mentorship phase followed by a 6 month to 2 year field assignment overseas. Designed to launch participants into the field long term, this course also builds a lifelong understanding of how to rally support and resources for an unreached people group. The teaching is excellent and intensely practical – language acquisition, spiritual warfare, business as mission, interpersonal relationships, church planting and community development are just some of the topics in the curriculum. If God has already placed a country on your heart, we will do our best to place you in a team there by the completion of your mentorship phase here.
We would love to train you in how to go from surviving to thriving in any cross-cultural setting. The first Hebrew (‘one who crosses over,’ i.e. a missionary) named Abraham was blessed to be a blessing to all the families of the earth and if you find yourself on the same journey of obedience, allow us to help you discover your mission from God in being the ‘father of many’ spiritual sons and daughters. Nashville, TN is home to 29 unreached people groups among the Muslims alone and you will be engaging the nations right here even before your overseas internship.

This pricing includes all lodging, meals, school materials, and travel for the entire school.

Four weeks prior to arrival day: a $200 USD non-refundable deposit to secure your place in the SOFM is due.
