3 Months Training. 2-3 Months Outreach.
Lecture Phase
For the first three months, you have the opportunity to seek God as you are exposed to insightful teaching from weekly speakers, and live in community with staff and other students.
Lecture topics include:
- The Character and Nature of God
- Hearing God’s Voice
- The Father Heart of God
- Evangelism
- Spiritual Warfare
- Bible
- And many more…
Through discussion and application, you will be challenged to use what you learn each week. Some of the avenues available for doing this include:
- Service projects
- Corporate worship
- Practical steps in relationships
- Daily personal time with the Lord
- Mobilizing others for involvement
- Intercession for others
- And much more…
Outreach Phase
For two to three months you will join with others to take the message and love of God across the world. You will learn about the diversity of cultures and will participate in God’s purposes for the places you visit. There is an array of locations for DTS Outreach -a whole world, in fact! Locations vary for every DTS. Recent outreach locations have been Thailand, West Africa, North Africa, Greece, Puerto Rico, and Brazil.
Tuition and Expenses
- Lecture Phase: $3590.00 This covers tuition, housing, conference, and meals.
- Outreach Phase: Cost varies with location. Typically these trips cost $5,000 which covers airfare, housing, food and travel in country.
Lecture Phase tuition must be paid by the first day of the school. Students are encouraged to come with as much raised for outreach as possible. Once the students have arrived, we will work together to raise the rest of the necessary funds.
