Doing a DTS is like going in for heart surgery; taking out the bad and replacing it with the good.  I would recommend this to people because we all need solid foundations, something to grow on and this is it! -Brittany Hallett. Alberta, Canada

For me, DTS was more a process of unlearning. I had a lot of religious concepts of God… but He had to strip many of my preconceived ideas away to make room for who He really is. The older I get, the more I realize I don’t know. There’s so much to learn about who God is. I’m in DTS for the rest of my life! – Brooke Gehman.  Bridgeville, Delaware

Next to following Jesus, doing a DTS is one of the most impactful decisions you’ll ever make. You learn so much that your heart and mind could explode, all while making the best memories with strangers that become more like family than most of your relatives. -Marissa Boeckmann. Beavercreek, Ohio

Doing a DTS is a life changer! For me, God showed me how real and tangible He is, how I am a child of His, and how much more exciting it is to be with Him, rather than away. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have an amazing experience with God! -Kendra DeVrou.  Allendale, Michigan

Take everything you know about yourself, about God, about society, about Christianity, about the nations, about love, along with your rights to even breath itself (and lay it down) and there you will find a yielded heart after the cross; something that I could not have seen until mercy hit me like a freight train. Why do a DTS? Because you will find the Christ-centered community you were created for, the knowledge to do more, and the God that your soul cries out for (as well as) the love and reality of Christ and His love for you that will not leave you unchanged! -Cody Brewer. Lancaster, PA

DTS it is a beautiful challenge with constant growth!!! Personally, I felt like I was growing constantly in all areas of life. There is so much stretching and expanding that when it is all over you can’t even believe how much you’ve learned. I would recommend it to people because you learn so much about yourself and God  in even more ways than you can even imagine. -Brittany Turner. Murfreesboro, TN
